Bon dia and welcome to Aruba’s JINICE ANIMAL FRIENDS FOUNDATION

 JINICE was born to help the island’s dog and cat owners in need so they can provide a better life for their companion animals, TO PREVENT the animals from reaching the street, and also with the desire to make a difference for Aruba’s homeless animals.

​

We try to bring as many veterinary supplies/ preventative medicine to the island as possible and are happy to share them with other local rescues and street feeders.

​​

We focus our priority time on conversations with dog owners, that may not even know that there are other ways to care for their animals. We try to nurture compassion for these little souls, that feel just as strongly as us humans, they just don’t speak our language.

There are thousands of animals on Aruba’s streets that are unfixed, not cared for, suffering from diseases, hunger and dehydration.

When we all do a little bit, it will eventually make an impact. 

Never say you cannot bring change as an individual.

Other local rescues are already doing a great job, but the problem is out of hand and every animal lover that wants to participate is needed.

We have created a very successful neighborhood ambassador program, which helps to have more eyes in the neighborhoods. Individuals report back to us when they become aware of situations in their own vicinity that need attention. We can’t be everywhere, but this has allowed us to reach those animals that silently suffer.

We do not have a shelter, which means we are unable to take in owner surrenders.
